Where did I spend money via SMS (my mobile contract)?
On the website www.nextg.tv you can find free and premium content covering gaming, sport, lifestyle, fictional chat conversations, general-knowledge quizzes and personality tests. The content covers a range of topics and age groups. Paid content includes editorial articles, picture puzzles, general-knowledge quizzes and personality tests. To receive a test result, a chargeable SMS is sent. The result is then displayed in the browser.
Do I need to cancel the contract?
This payment method is not a subscription, so cancellation is neither possible nor necessary.
Is this a one-off payment or a subscription?
It is a one-off payment. You pay per SMS. If you do not send another SMS, you do not pay any more money.
I don’t remember buying this product. What can I do?
Experience shows that mobile phones are sometimes used by family members or acquaintances without the account holder’s knowledge. The same applies to the SIM card, which assigns a phone number to a mobile device. Please check whether someone you know has removed or swapped your phone’s SIM card. If someone has used your mobile connection without permission, we can only advise you to report that person to the police.
Under section 45d(2) TKG, you can ask your mobile provider to block the sending of premium SMS messages entirely for the mobile connection concerned. If you allow other people, particularly minors, to use the connection without this free block, you are also responsible as the account holder for their SMS messages. Every premium SMS sent creates a contract for the relevant value-added service between you and us as the provider. These contracts cannot be withdrawn from.
